Elma BM 257 is a new smart mini mult imeter, which gives two new exiting functions. Auto Check is an intelligent function which automatically detects and choose AC voltage, DC voltage and continuity test/resistance. All you need to do is to turn on the instrument and measure. Low Z is voltage measurement with a low impedance, which means, that the measuring point is loaded, and therefore is it the real voltage you are measuring. The instrument has build-in non contact detection of electrical fields, whick can be used to detect electromagnetical fieds from PC screens, or used as a non contact voltage detector. Elma BM 257 measures true RMS current, voltage, resistance, frequency, capacity, continuity and temperature. Elma BM 257 has backlighted display with analog bargraph for easy and quick reading. The instrument is equipped with automatical/ manual range selection, relative measurement, Peak hold, min/max, datahold and intelligent auto power off. With the PC-communication and the Windows software (extra option) is it possible to make ON-Line data logging. The instrument is very safeand robust. It can handle ffailure connection and is equipped with high efficiency fuses. Complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT III 600V.
