För att säkerställa att sensorn inte stör grässkötseln har den en speciell låg höjd och en plan yta: både gräsklippare och robotgräsklippare kan enkelt köra över sensorn. Den fem meter långa anslutningskabeln möjliggör flexibel installation och kan förlängas vid behov med en förlängningskabel som finns som tillbehör. Så du har en överblick över vattningen, du kan se avläsningarna för sensorn på den anslutna vattenstyrenheten. En låg batterinivå på två AA-batterier (ingår ej) indikeras både på bevattningsdatorn och på lysdioden i batterifacket. Batterierna kan hålla cirka ett år i drift. Watering your garden has never been so simple and accurate: The innovative Soil Moisture Sensor from GARDENA automatically ensures that your garden is watered according to demand and saves water by measuring the current soil moisture and transmitting this to your Water Control. If the soil is still sufficiently moist, the upcoming watering cycle is skipped. In this way, your plants automatically receive reliable and accurate care, while as an added bonus, you save water. The Sensor is compatible with almost all GARDENA Water Controls and Multi-Channel Controls. Due to its compact size, the battery-powered Soil Moisture Sensor can not only be used in lawns or flowerbeds, but is also suitable for smaller plant pots. To ensure that the sensor does not interfere with lawn care, it has a particularly low height and a flat surface: both lawn mowers and mowing robots can easily drive over the sensor. The five-metre long connection cable allows for flexible installation and can be extended as required with an extension cable available as an accessory. So that you have an overview of the irrigation, you can see the sensor's readings on the connected Water Control. A low battery level of the two AA batteries (nicht enthalten) is indicated both on the Water Control and on the LED in the battery compartment. The batteries should last about one year in operation. This way the Soil Moisture Sensor can always work reliably to ensure watering on-demand and saving water.
Automatic water-saving irrigation
If the soil moisture is sufficient, your Water Control will not start at all - so you save water and still have beautiful and healthy plants. Together with a GARDENA Water Control, the Soil Moisture Sensor can control the irrigation automatically depending on the soil moisture.
Flexible placement
Whether it's a flower bed, lawn or even plant pots: thanks to its small and compact size and the five-metre long connection cable, the Soil Moisture Sensor can be placed almost anywhere in the garden. Thanks to its low height and flat top, the sensor can even be installed in lawns without disturbing the mowing process.
Precisely informed
You can set the switching point of the sensor on the connected Water Control. The measured soil moisture is shown on the display in the form of water drops. If your products are connected to the GARDENA Bluetooth App, you can view the settings and display there.
Secure and reliable operation
Low battery power is indicated on both the Water Control and the LED in the battery compartment. This allows you to replace the battery in time and ensures continued reliable operation.
Easy to use
The five-metre long connection cable allows flexible connection of the Soil Moisture Sensor and can be added to with an extension cable as required.
Proven reliable measuring principle
The soil sensor measures the soil moisture according to a proven electrothermal measuring principle. The metal tip, which is enclosed in felt, heats up and calculates the degree of soil moisture based on the cooling time—reliably and accurately.
