Astrea introduces a unique gameplay system where you balance between Purification and Corruption. Purification can be used to damage enemies or heal yourself, while Corruption can harm you or heal your enemies. Use Purification to pacify opponents, or embrace Corruption to activate powerful abilities that can turn the tide of battle.

Your health bar is dynamic, as your skills are tied to it. Taking Corruption unlocks powerful abilities, but beware – too much Corruption can lead to your downfall. Instead of cards, you build a pool of dice tailored to your playstyle. Choose from over 350 dice and three types: safe, balanced, or risky with high rewards. Customize your dice by editing their faces to stack the odds in your favor.

Choose one of six unique Oracles, each with their own dice sets, abilities, and playstyles. Whether you prefer overwhelming force or outsmarting opponents with strategy, there’s an Oracle for you. You’ll also be supported by 20 upgradable Sentinels, magical constructs that provide reliable dice rolls in the heat of battle.

Along the way, discover over 170 different blessings that change your tactics. Star Blessings offer moderate passive effects, while Black Hole Blessings grant powerful advantages with certain drawbacks. Explore mysterious locations and encounter more than 20 random events that can alter your journey. Enemies attack using their own dice, but you have the ability to manipulate their rolls and change their intentions.

With 16 difficulty levels, you can adjust the challenge to match your skill. Astrea is a roguelike that uses dice-based mechanics, where you must combat the system’s rampant Corruption and save the star system.

Long ago, the star system thrived as a harmonious civilization, overseen by a mystical star and its loyal disciples, the Six-Sided Oracles. However, this peace was shattered by the Crimson Dawn Cataclysm – a disaster that destroyed their society and corrupted countless souls.
