EcoFlow Alternator Charger 600W
The EcoFlow Alternator Charger 600W charges compatible portable power stations using energy from a vehicle’s alternator, delivering up to 600 W while driving. It can replenish approximately 1 kWh in 1.9 hours, compared with up to 10 hours using a conventional 12 V cigarette lighter socket. The charger supports 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems and features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Its compact design weighs approximately 1.1 kg, making it suitable for cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and motorhomes. Additional functions include starter battery maintenance at up to 100 W and reverse charging with a separately purchased compatible cable.

Three operating modes provide different charging options. Power station charging supplies energy while the vehicle is running, Battery Maintenance mode delivers up to 100 W to help maintain the starter battery’s voltage, and Reverse Charging mode transfers energy from a compatible power station back to the vehicle battery. Reverse charging requires a separately purchased XT150 or 4+8 communication cable; the included XT60 cable does not support this function.
The charger supports AGM, lead-acid and LiFePO4 starter batteries and works with a range of vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and motorhomes. It can charge most 24 V and 48 V portable power stations, including compatible models from the EcoFlow RIVER and DELTA series and selected products from other manufacturers.
Protection features include safeguards against reverse polarity, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating. An integrated 125 A fuse provides additional protection, while intelligent power and voltage adjustment helps manage the energy drawn from the alternator. The housing meets IP4X requirements for protection against solid objects, and the charger uses passive heat dissipation. An ignition wire enables control based on the vehicle’s ignition status, while Class B electronic components comply with EMC requirements. Emergency mode operates at approximately 15 A to help gradually restore voltage in a discharged battery.
The Plug & Play design simplifies installation, and the charger starts automatically when the engine is switched on. Braided cable sheathing improves abrasion resistance. Through the EcoFlow app, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, users can monitor starter battery voltage, power station charge level and estimated charging time. The unit weighs approximately 1.1 kg and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
