How to use gauze: Put on gloves and place a plastic or wax cloth on the table Start by cutting the gauze into smaller pieces so that it is ready to use before starting work Place the wet gauze on top of e.g. metal, glass, styrofoam or wire mesh and smooth with your fingers - the more layers of gauze, the more robust Leave the gauze to dry for the next day. You can then paint and varnish the dry gauze Note: The wet gauze softens cardboard and other absorbent materials, so cover cardboard with masking tape beforehand.
