DJI - Ronin M Remote controller
DJI's Remote Controller for Ronin-M is a dedicated 2.4 GHz handheld transmitter that comes pre-configured for operating the Ronin-M gimbal. With this transmitter, one operator can carry the gimbal while a second operator remotely controls the gimbal's pan, tilt, and roll, allowing for much more precise camera movements than a single operator can achieve.
This remote is designed specifically for the Ronin-M and is not compatible with the Ronin. Please ensure the remote control is sufficiently charged before use, as it will automatically power off if the battery voltage becomes too low. The internal battery should be charged using the included Micro-USB cable, and using the incorrect type of charging cable may cause damage. Always turn off the remote control before charging. The power LED indicator will glow solid green when the battery is fully charged. When using the remote, ensure the antenna is at least 7.9" away from any person.
The key features of the remote controller include an internal battery with USB charging, a power indicator light, LEDs that show the remaining battery, a carry handle, and a neck strap attachment point. The remote is also configurable and updatable with the RC Assistant software.
For controls with default settings, the right 3-position switch is used to select the mode, while the left 3-position switch is used to select the function (Fast, Normal, and Slow). The left dial is reserved, and the right joystick controls the horizontal pan axis and vertical tilt axis. The left joystick controls the roll axis with horizontal movements.
